Site news is good news

What we’ve been up to lately…

We are pleased to announce that there is a great clamouring for Gods. Your requests have included many weird and wonderful deities, including LUGH, ERIS, THE MORRIGAN and RAVEN. These – and many more – are winging their way to the website and will be appearing shortly.

Meanwhile, we have started work on a new site layout to give you the ultimate Godchecker experience! The Gods have been very active since our last mailout. Read on for the latest developments…

Our still-checking department has so far failed to find a God of Marmite or Vegemite, as requested by Paul Capron of SE England. The nearest we can get is a Slavonic Goddess of making yeast rise, but we fear the content of modern yeast extract is not suitable. We’re double-checking on Gods of Black Goo and we’ll get back to you.

We’re also seeking a God or Goddess of Laundry on behalf of Mark Love. He clearly has some problems in that department thanks to a recent family addition. So far we’ve found CLOTA The Divine Washer, who does her business in the River Clyde. Quite what she washes we’re reluctant to find out – some things are even more unwholesome than dirty diapers. (Perhaps Mark should also be looking for a God of Black Goo.)
